UNDERWRITER (Entry Level)
General Description of Position- Function as the underwriter on company risk contracts
- Prepare rate proposals and renewals for rate setting committee
- Update Risk Management monthly reports and prepare confidential utilization reports for employer groups
- SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

WEB DEVELOPER ANALYST
General Description of Position- Primarily responsible to maintain the UHA public website (www.uhahealth.com), including the integration of new content, developing multimedia for the web, maintaining secure server pages, and adhering to branding and web style guidelines
- Responsible for upgrade and maintenance of hardware and software required for the continual and efficient functioning of the UHA public website
- Responsible for design and development of secure processes and applications with Adobe LiveCycle ES and Flex, requires collaboration with contracted developers and some project management
- Work closely with internal and external groups to gather requirements, define system features, and design scalable user interfaces
- Create custom graphics and have familiarity with vector illustration
- Maintain digital signatures and research and develop new ways to improve electronic collaboration
- SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
- Strong knowledge and experience with XHTML, XML, CSS, Javascript, ASP, search engine optimization (Google Analytics), and web design standards
- Knowledge of Adobe software: Adobe CS3 Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Dreamweaver and Flash; Acrobat Professional
- Knowledge of Adobe LiveCycle ES, Adobe Flex Builder, and Eclipse development environments
- Knowledge of MXML, XSL, Actionscript and some Java is preferable
- Familiar with user experience design, strong background in creating interactive interfaces, designing information architecture, wireframes, user flows and user interaction models

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE
- Bachelors degree in MIS or CIS from an accredited college or university

- Must have a valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance in accordance with UHA required minimums
- EXPERIENCE
- Three years work experience in web development, web software applications, web tools and programming
- Demonstrated experience in designing usable web-based application interfaces with expertise in complex workflow
- Experience with quality control testing of new applications
- Functional experience with RDBMS (SQL Server specifically) IIS, JBOSS, NT and/or UNIX environments
- Experience with intranet and internet development and content management systems
